Octo+ (pronounced Octoplus) is a DJ from Indianapolis - living there since the mid-’90s, rooted in Detroit/Chicago influence. While the sounds of the underground are his passion, he's both a trained musician on multiple instruments and an ex-recording studio owner. With a 20+ year break, he's now back in the booth as of late 2023. His sound is dark, driving techno—ranging from trippy to minimal to hardgroove—always raw and proper often with a slant towards the classic techno he grew up on. He's at his best on 4 decks -  building dense, technical layers with effects, loops, and precision EQ. His DJ style is to surprise the listener—creating builds and drops rather than letting the tracks dictate the moment.
